The winning bid from this unreserved auction, including the BaT buyer’s fee, will be donated to the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America (MSHFA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation. The mission of the MSHFA is to honor the ‘Horsepower Heroes’ and their victorious achievements in American motorsports and to preserve their legacy for future generations. Roger Penske is the Founder and Chairman of Penske Corporation and a 1995 MSHFA Member who founded Team Penske, which is in its 58th season in 2024.

The Team Penske experience was followed by a one-on-one lunch with GM President Mark Reuss and a tour of the GM Global Technology Center, one of the first two major auction fundraising initiatives launched by MSHFA in 2024 with support from top organizations and companies in the motorsports and automotive industries.

“We are incredibly grateful to Roger and everyone at Team Penske for providing this incredible experience at Team Penske to a lucky group who will truly have the experience of a lifetime,” said MSHFA President George Levy. “We are also grateful for the generous support of Bring a Trailer and Mark Reuss and everyone at GM who came forward to support our successful first auction this spring. It is an honor and even humbling to know that Roger Penske and industry leaders like Team Penske and Mark Reuss and GM share our passion and mission to preserve the great legacy of American motorsports for future generations.”

Racing in a variety of disciplines over the past few decades, Team Penske-owned and -prepared cars have produced more than 630 major race wins, more than 690 pole positions and 44 championships last month. In addition to 20 Indy 500 wins, the team has three Daytona 500 Championships, one Formula One win, overall victories at the Daytona 24 Hours and 12 Hours of Sebring and a win at Australia’s legendary Bathurst 1000 race.

Each guest will receive a gift bag filled with Team Penske memorabilia, and the winning bidder will also receive additional items signed by various Team Penske drivers, including crew t-shirts, die-cast models, official photos and autographed hero cards. All winners will receive a Certificate of Authenticity, including a pair of NASCAR Mustang 1/24 scale die-casts, Team Penske crew t-shirts from Advance Auto Parts and Menard, and much more.

The Team Penske auction winner can reserve the experience in any month except November, December and national holidays.
