ATP Wimbledon Semifinal Alcaraz vs Medvedev Best Bet

ATP Wimbledon semifinals

Alcaraz – Medvedev: 12.07.2024 Time TBA
H2H: 3-2

Carlos Alcaraz won five matches in a row. Here at Wimbledon, Alcaraz won his first round match against Lajal in straight sets, as we predicted. Alcaraz could not find his rhythm and was struggling with his tennis. After that, Carlos also beat Vukic in straight sets in the second round. Alcaraz lost serve twice in the first set, but still won the set and won the tiebreak. Carlos was much better on the court in the second and third sets, winning both sets 6-2. After that, in the third round, Carlos struggled against Tiafoe, as we predicted. After about 2:30 on the court, Alcaraz was trailing 1-2. Both players played great tennis, but Alcaraz was the better player under pressure and won the fourth set in tiebreak. Tiafoe was tiring in the fifth set and Alcaraz was pushing him to the limit. In the 1/8 Finals, Alcaraz beat Humbert in four sets. In addition to losing the third set 1-6, Carlos showed why he is the big favorite and defending champion in London. In the quarterfinals, Alcaraz lost the first set against Paul. However, once he improved his game, Alcaraz won three sets in a row and eventually won the match comfortably. Carlos played his best tennis at Wimbledon last year. On his way to the title, Alcaraz won against Berrettini, Rune, Medvedev, Djokovic and some other great players.

Daniil Medvedev won five matches in a row. Here at Wimbledon, Medvedev won his first round match against Kovacevic in straight sets. Daniil saved all three break points and had a great serving performance. After that, in the second round, Medvedev had a tough time against Muller, as we expected. Medvedev lost the first set, but managed to win the match in four tight sets. In the third round match, Medvedev played his best tennis against Struff. He was 2-0 ahead after just an hour. However, Struff won the third set 6-4 and was ahead 3-1 even in the fourth set tiebreak. Daniil remained calm and played patiently. In the 1/8 Finals, Dimitrov was 3-5 behind Medvedev and unfortunately retired after that. The Bulgarian fell 2-3 in the first set. Dimitrov tried to continue, but unfortunately it seems that his injury is serious. However, Medvedev had a good time to recover until the quarterfinal match against Jannik. In the quarterfinals, Medvedev played his best match of the season, winning five tight sets against Sinner. Even though Jannik wasn’t 100%, Medvedev still played a great match. Apart from reaching the semifinals at Wimbledon last year, where he lost to Alcaraz, Daniil hasn’t had any notable results on grass.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookmakers, Alcaraz is the big favorite in this matchup. Medvedev had a tough match against Sinner, so we believe he will tire against Carlos. Alcaraz is still the big favorite for the title and we believe he will easily win against Medvedev.

It is said that, Alcaraz meeting his playing handicap is a valuable bet.
