BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Florida Tech men’s soccer team and Head Coach Nick Robinson have announced the team’s 2024 schedule ahead of his first season leading the program. The schedule features 17 games, including eight home games and a 10-game Sunshine State Conference schedule.

Florida Tech’s regular season begins with a neutral game against Lander in Winter Park on Sept. 6. Two days later, the Panthers face Wingate at the same venue on the afternoon of Sept. 8. The team plays its first real road game on Sept. 10, traveling to Saint Leo to face the Lions.

Limestone arrives in Melbourne on September 17 before the Panthers embark on a two-game road trip to begin conference play.

“We open the season against three programs that are heavily nationally ranked, Wingate, Lander and Rollins. This will be a great indicator of where we are early in the season,” said Coach Robinson. “Our home opener on September 17th will be a rematch of last season’s regional final against Limestone University. We anticipate this will be another great test before we open conference play.”

The Panthers will open SSC play on Sept. 25 at Rollins College and then travel to Daytona Beach to face Embry-Riddle three days later (Sept. 28).

October begins with the Panthers hosting Saint Leo for the second time on Oct. 2. Florida Tech will then travel to Saint Augustine to face Flagler on Oct. 5 and then return to Melbourne to play Palm Beach Atlantic on Oct. 9.

The team will travel to Tampa on Oct. 12, then Fort Lauderdale on Oct. 16 to play Nova Southeastern.

The Panthers are home for five of their final six regular-season games. Florida Southern and Rollins College come to Melbourne for the next two games, with the Mocs on Oct. 19 and the Tars on Oct. 23.

Florida Tech will compete in its final true road game of the season on Oct. 26 against Eckerd College in Saint Petersburg before a three-game final stretch to conclude the 2024 season.

October comes to a close for Florida Tech as they host Lynn on Oct. 30. The final two games of the regular season will see Nova Southeastern and Barry take to Melbourne on Nov. 2 and 8, respectively.

“Our conference schedule is always challenging and we can’t wait to see what this team can accomplish in the 2024 season,” said Coach Robinson.

The Sunshine State Conference Tournament runs from Nov. 11-17, while the NCAA Championship begins Nov. 22.

Florida Tech will advance to the NCAA Final Four in 2023 after a 13-3-5 season.
