Crew Clothing has signed tennis star Jodie Burrage as its latest sports ambassador

Crew Clothing Company has a strong and diverse sporting heritage, so it’s no surprise that the British lifestyle brand has expanded its group of associated ambassadors. The latest is one of the UK’s leading tennis players, Jodie Burrage (ranked 84th globally).

He has signed on as a Crew Clothing ambassador and will also be wearing Crew off the court as he travels the world and relaxes between tournaments.

The retailer said choosing Crew, a five-time ITF singles champion, was “a natural collaboration that reflects both Crew and Jodie’s shared enthusiasm for representing the best of tennis, the coast and British sport”.

He is on the ambassador roster alongside three-time Wimbledon Doubles Champion Neal Skupski.

Naomi Parry, Marketing Director at Crew Clothing, said: “(Jodie) is a fantastic athlete. She’s one to watch, but not just that – she’s… very much in line with our values.”

Crew last year appointed global sports, entertainment and culture agency Octagon to support its extensive and growing sponsorship portfolio, stating that sports sponsorships and associations were a “key driver” for the company.

It has been investing in sports partnerships for several years, hosting pop-ups at events, launching exclusive content on its website and creating new collections, including a Williams Racing F1-licensed collection, a special leisurewear pack for the Henley Royal Regatta and a technical golf range to boost its sponsorship of the Legends Tour.
